Huawei has introduced the Huawei Nova Flip, its debut entry into the compact flip foldable phone sector. This new addition to the Nova series brings a host of advanced features and specifications.

The Huawei Nova Flip presents varying thicknesses based on its material. When folded, the plain leather variant measures 15.08mm thick, while the glass version is slightly thicker at 15.12mm. When unfolded, the thickness of both models is reduced to 6.88mm for the leather and 6.9mm for the glass variant. The plain leather model weighs 195 grams, and the glass model weighs 199 grams.

The device boasts a 6.94-inch OLED LTPO foldable screen with a resolution of 2690 x 1136 pixels. This display supports a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, achieves a peak brightness of 1200 nits, and includes 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to minimize flicker. For selfies, it is equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the rear, the Nova Flip features a 2.15-inch OLED cover screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. Accompanying this is a dual-camera setup comprising an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel main camera, which includes a 1/1.56-inch RYYB sensor and an f/1.9 aperture. The device also includes a side-facing fingerprint sensor for security.

The Huawei Nova Flip runs on Harmony OS 4.2 and is powered by the Kirin 8000 chipset coupled with 12 GB of RAM. It is available in three storage options: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB. The phone is equipped with a 4,400mAh battery and supports 66W rapid charging.

Pricing for the Huawei Nova Flip is set at approximately $740 for the 12GB+256GB model, $795 for the 12GB+512GB model, and $910 for the 12GB+1TB variant. The device is offered in four colors: New Green, Starry Black, Zero White, and Sakura Pink.
