Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge full specs leak ahead of its May 13 launch.

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next premium smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge, with a grand unveiling expected on May 13. While the official reveal is just around the corner, multiple reliable leaks have already provided a comprehensive look at the phone’s specifications, design, and pricing across global markets. Let’s break down everything we know so far.
Design & Build: Ultra-Thin with Titanium Toughness
One of the Galaxy S25 Edge’s standout features is its incredibly slim profile — reportedly just 5.85 mm thin. The device features a premium titanium frame, flanked by a glass front and back for a sophisticated yet durable build. Samsung is using Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the rear and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the front, combining resilience with an elegant finish.
Despite the slim frame, Samsung hasn’t compromised on build quality. The phone is expected to weigh just 163g, making it lighter than most flagships in its class. It will also come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, further cementing its premium status.
Display: High-End Visuals with Subtle Curves
The Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3120 × 1440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and vibrant color output. The screen is subtly curved at the edges, delivering a futuristic aesthetic without compromising usability.
Samsung is incorporating an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner beneath the display for secure, fast unlocking. Expect peak brightness levels to push beyond 3000 nits, along with HDR10+ support and other display-enhancing technologies.
Performance: Snapdragon 8 Elite Under the Hood
Powering the Galaxy S25 Edge is the newly branded Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset — the latest iteration of Qualcomm’s top-tier processor. It’s tuned for high performance, enabling faster processing, better thermal management, and enhanced AI features.
Samsung will offer configurations with 12GB of RAM, coupled with either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD card slot, but the internal speed and capacity should satisfy most users. In some earlier leaks, a 1TB variant was also rumored but hasn’t been confirmed in this round.
Battery & Charging: Fast but Smaller
The slim design comes with a trade-off in battery size. The S25 Edge is said to house a 3,900mAh battery, smaller than previous Galaxy flagships but optimized with better power management features. It supports fast wired charging, wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging, though Samsung hasn’t confirmed the exact wattage. Earlier leaks suggested 65W wired and 25W wireless support.
Camera System: Flagship-Grade with AI Enhancements
The rear camera system includes:
• A 200MP main camera with OIS and a wide f/1.7 aperture, based on the same 1/1.3-inch sensor used in the Galaxy Ultra series. This sensor enables high-quality 2x zoom by cropping without losing detail.
• A 12MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture, perfect for landscapes and group shots.
• On the front, users will get a 12MP selfie shooter, using the 1/3.2-inch S5K3LU sensor, promising sharp and color-accurate portraits.
AI-powered tools for night mode, portrait optimization, and scene detection will enhance camera performance across both photography and videography.
Software & Features: One UI 7 and AI at the Core
Out of the box, the device will run One UI 7 based on Android 15, offering Samsung’s newest ecosystem features, including extended customization, enhanced privacy, and deeper AI integration. Samsung continues its long-term software commitment, reportedly offering up to 7 years of OS and security updates.
Connectivity-wise, the Galaxy S25 Edge comes with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, satellite messaging for emergencies, and support for ultra-wideband (UWB) for advanced spatial tracking.
